HowToApologize.txt
How to Apologize is built from a network of interconnected videos that branch with each choice. It’s designed as an interactive space where users can explore the qualities of a meaningful apology. To make the experience more personal, users can also choose a character that reflects their own perspective.
HowToApologize.txt
I hand-animated three pairs of characters across the same set of scenarios, totaling about 45 minutes of content. Ensuring diversity among the couples was a key focus throughout the project.
Project Workflow
To make the experience effective, the characters were designed with easily readable emotions, ensuring that users could always interpret the responses they received. The use of simple, stylized 3D backgrounds further emphasized the characters, keeping the attention clearly on their reactions.
