An animated onboarding project for Hot Neon, designed to welcome new employees and introduce key company procedures in an engaging way. I served as art director and created all visual and animated content, overseeing the project from concept to completion.

Designed to make onboarding both engaging and informative, the project blended cinematic animated videos with interactive 3D islands. Together, they walked new employees through Hot Neon’s four production phases while immersing them in the studio’s culture and creative energy.

New employees experienced a mix of animated videos, interactive areas to explore Hot Neon’s culture and workflow, and quizzes with supplemental learning materials.
Project Workflow
As the art director on this project, I aimed to develop a visual style that captured the fun, energetic spirit of Hot Neon so new employees could immediately connect with the company’s culture. I landed on a comic inspired halftone aesthetic, which not only reinforced the playful tone but also translated seamlessly across the UX, animations, and 3D elements.
